FRS17190 - Understanding future Estuarine risks

Theme:Incident Management & Modelling
Project status:Underway
Start date:01/04/2017
End date:31/12/2019
To better understand the interaction and co-dependencies between atmospheric driven (precipitation) flooding with long-term coastal risk driven by both sea level rise and changing storm surge and wave response to climate change. To understand the potential influence of other factors on how the system responds to the change, such as a change in the salinity gradient within the system and whether that would lead to changes in other paramaters or the need for changes in the modelling set up within estuarine systems
