PROJECT CLOSING STATEMENT:

The estuaries research programme phase 1 evaluated a wide range of methods capable of predicting changes in the shape of an estuary and parameters related to morphology, its outputs were disseminated in this project through a programme of workshops and the production of a couple of reports. All are available via the following link.

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:

To set up a take up and training programme in the outputs of ERP Phase 1. Two demonstration projects will be used as vehicles for the training. Workshops will also cover data management for the cross-disciplinary community that is likely to be involved across the range of projects within the Defra/EA Thematic programme.

KEY

CUSTOMER PURPOSE:

This Task will make the data needed for future research within the Defra/EA Broad Scale Modelling and Processes Themes available to the wider research community. The workshop will be the basis for making recommendations as to the way forward for data sharing within research community projects. In this way the Task will consolidate the delivery of data from ERP1 and provide the vehicle for maximising the uptake in future research.
