PROJECT CLOSING STATEMENT:

The revitalised rainfal-runoff method developed in this study is intended to replace the existing

FSR/FEH

rainfall-runoff method as detailed in the Flood Estimation Handbook (FEH) Vol 4, enabling the estimation of design hydrographs for use in hydraulic engineering and flood management.

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:

To improve the main components of the RFRO method, taking advantage of updated statistical methods, data and computational abilities.

KEY

CUSTOMER PURPOSE:

To maintain and improve the Flood Estimation Handbook which is the principle tool used for flood estimation in England and Wales.
