Summary Objective:
Using a combination of data on rainfall, groundwater levels and flows, examine the relationship between flood volume, duration and frequency in permeable, lowland catchments.

Key Customer Purpose:
Provide practical input to the design of flood relief measures in permeable catchments where the release of large volumes of groundwater over a protracted period causes prolonged and disruptive flooding.
